Jollibee started in 1975 as an ice cream parlour. In 1978, it incorporated with 7 outlets and by 1984 was doing 500 million pesos in sales per year. In 1993, Jollibee became the first food service company to be listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange.

With over 600 locations in the Philippines and more than 30 internationally, Jollibee is the king of Filipino fast food. The chain also owns Greenwich Pizza and Chowking.
